A large sandy beach and 1,700 acres of seasonably warm water attracts more than people to the area's largest lake. The waters are well stocked with trophy sized fish of all kinds, from trout to bass, and larger wildlife can occasionally be spotted on the shoreline in the mornings and late evenings.

To get there take Exit I-25 west at U.S. 34 near Loveland, turn north onto Madison Avenue, then follow the signs.
